In consideration of the approval granted to you by the Chairman of the Authority for Transport in Malta to use the internet services provided on this website eReg On-line, it is agreed that access to the same and the use of the eReg On-line services is governed by the terms and conditions set out below. These terms and conditions have been determined by the Chairman of the Authority and are intended for the protection of both the user of the service as well as the officials of the Authority. Please read these conditions carefully. By proceeding further in using eReg On-Line you will be deemed to have accepted said conditions.

  1. General Terms and Conditions
    This website is established in Malta in accordance with and will be governed by the laws of Malta. When you use the site, you accept that the laws of Malta therein, will also govern your use of the site and any information. You also accept that if any dispute arises from your use of the site or any of the information on it, you agree to allow such dispute to be heard in the Courts of Malta. 

  2. Use of Site
    eReg On-line may only be used by the employees of Transport Malta, Motor Car Dealers acting on behalf of their clients and clients solely for the purpose of the Registration and Licensing of vehicles with the Authority.

  3. Amendments to Information
    Transport Malta reserves the right to make amendments to the information, designs and services provided on the eReg On-line website without notice and without liability. However, every effort will be made to advise the public of changes in advance. 

  4. Amendment of terms and conditions
    Transport Malta reserves the right to add, amend or vary these terms and conditions simply by notifying said amendments on its website. If you continue to use the service offered on this web-site you shall be deemed to be aware and to have accepted said amendments. 

  5. Waiver of responsibility
    In any electronic communication transmitted by you to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Unit using eReg On-line, the Transport Malta disclaims any responsibility for the accuracy, veracity and completeness of such communication and for any errors in the manner of its input. 

     

Transport Malta brings to your cognisance the fact that it is not possible to secure and maintain confidential internet communications, whether encrypted or not, that any such communications may be delivered to a wrong address and that delivery of the same may not be timely; that any such communications are capable of being intercepted by third parties at any time and accordingly the confidentiality, security and integrity of any such communications cannot be assured.

As a user of the eReg On-line website you shall not send or transmit any communications which contain a virus or other media damaging to the property or computer systems of Transport Malta or third parties or which may be defamatory, libelous, slanderous, obscene, abusive, menacing or immoral and you shall abide with all relevant laws, regulations and international conventions or treaties governing the content and the transmission of such communications.
